Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains how SuppSafety (“we”) handles information. SuppSafety is an informational supplement research and tracking tool. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.
Information you provide
- Optional account: If you sign in (for example with Google), we receive basic account identifiers from the sign-in provider to create your account. You may also use the app anonymously where available.
- Your stack & schedule: The supplements and schedule you add. On the website, this is stored locally in your browser. In the mobile app, if you sign in, it may be stored in your private, per-account area of our database so it can sync across your devices.
Local-first on the web
The website’s planner uses your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your device unless you clear it. Specifically, the site stores your plan (phases, supplements, doses, day-of-week and cycling settings, pauses, and notes) under stackwise.plan.v2 (older versions used stackwise.stack.v1), daily check-offs under stackwise.checks.v2.<date>, and your Simple/Research view preference under stackwise.view. Nothing in the web planner is sent to a server.
Exports you create
The planner can export your plan as a JSON backup file or a plain-text supplement list (for example, to bring to an appointment). Those files are generated on your device and saved wherever you choose — treat them as sensitive and share them only with people you trust.
Ads, payments & affiliates
SuppSafety currently shows no ads, contains no affiliate links, and sells nothing. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.
How we use information
We use information solely to provide the app’s features — showing your saved stack, syncing it to your account if you sign in, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Data storage & security
Account and synced data are stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore). Access is restricted so that your personal data is readable and writable only by your authenticated account. We rely on Google Cloud’s infrastructure security. No system is perfectly secure.
Health information
The supplements you track may reveal information about your interests or wellness routine. We treat this as sensitive and keep it in your private per-account area. We do not use it for advertising.
Your choices
- Use the app anonymously or without signing in where available.
- Delete items from your stack at any time.
- Request deletion of your account data by contacting us (see below).
Children
SuppSafety is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Do not give supplements to a child without professional guidance.
